Regular maintenance can help ensure that your air conditioner
keeps you cool - even on the hottest days of the year. A well-maintained
system runs more efficiently and can help you avoid premature
replacement of the entire air conditioning unit.
- filters should be cleaned at least every ten weeks to maintain maximum performance, simply remove the filter from the return air grille and wash with your garden hose till clean allow to dry and return to grille. This air grille inner frame can be removed and washed to enhance its appearance when dust accumulates over time.
- drains should be flushed out before every summer to ensure that they are free from blockage. Unclean drains are not covered under warranty. We can do this for you if you are not sure, for a service fee.
- when operating your air conditioner it is advised that a set point of 22 .. to ..23 degrees be used in the summer months with a set point of 19 to 20 in the winter months, this will give comfortable temperatures in your home and not break the budget at bill times. WARNING set points below 20 degrees c are not advised as these can cause the air conditioner to ice up and then damage your ceilings with the excess moisture that inevitably builds up.

- Common zone, usually areas in the home most commonly used Such as family areas, kitchen, meals etc.
- Night zone, or bed zone areas in the home you will spend the night.
- Day zone, lounge areas etc.
Day and night areas can be switched over at any time, however remember that the
Air conditioner was designed to cope with the common zone and one other zone at any time and for best performance on hot days will cope best when run this way.
